Birdshot Perspectives: Update on Research in Birdshot Uveitis
Birdshot Uveitis Society of North America announces the third presentation of its 2026 Webinar Series: Birdshot Perspectives.
Dr. Lucia Sobrin, MD, MPH of Massachusetts Eye and Ear will present Update on Research in Birdshot Uveitis on Sunday, September 13 at 1 pm ET. It will be a live webinar and will last an hour.

Finally, Dr. Sobrin will share what is new and on the horizon for the treatment of birdshot.
BUSNA thanks Genentech and our Supporting Sponsors for sponsoring our 2026 educational webinar series for birdshot patients.

Rare Disease Day
Rare Disease Day is a day to acknowledge diseases like Birdshot Uveitis. Birdshot Uveitis is an “orphan disease” that affects a small percentage of the population. In some part of the world, the term orphan disease describes a rare disease whose rarity results in little or no funding or no funding for research for treatments. Celebrate #rarediseaseday by helping fund research. Press the Donate Now button and make a difference.
In commemorating Rare Disease Day 2024 on February 29th, the rarest day of the year, Birdshot Uveitis Society of North America will be featuring diagnosis stories of birdies throughout the month. Read Show Your Stripes on Rare Disease Day to learn more about our rare disease, birdshot uveitis.
Make sure to check our blog regularly for featured stories about Birdshot patients.
