Birdshot Uveitis Society of North America is a 501(c)(3) independent volunteer-run nonprofit organization (EIN-85-1623599) comprised of persons diagnosed with Birdshot Uveitis. It was established in 2020 by a group of Birdshot patients living in Canada and the USA. BUSNA provides information and support for patients and raises funds for Birdshot Uveitis research.

Corporate Charitable Giving
Many corporations throughout the United States believe in the power of giving back. One of the ways they amplify the impact of your generosity is through their Corporate Charitable Matching Program. It is an initiative where companies match the donations made by their employees to eligible charitable organizations, like BUSNA, a 501c 3 nonprofit.
For example, if an employee donates $100 to BUSNA, the company will contribute an additional $100, effectively doubling the donation. It’s that simple!
How It Works:
1. Check with Your Employer: Ask your HR department or check your company's intranet to see if they offer a charitable matching gift program.
2. Submit Your Donation: Make your donation to Birdshot Uveitis Society of North America as you normally would.
3. Complete the Matching Request: Follow your company's procedure to request a matching gift. They may ask for our tax ID number, which is 85-1623599.
4. Notify Us: Let us know if you’ve submitted a matching gift request so we can ensure your donation is processed accordingly.
