Plan to join us on Tuesday, October 25th at 5:30 pm EST for a very special webinar. Jennifer Elizabeth Thorne, M.D., Ph.D., will update us on her recent birdshot uveitis research.
Dr. Thorne is the Cross Family Professor of Ophthalmology at the Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins University, where she is also chief of the Division of Ocular Immunology. She holds a joint appointment as professor of epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

In 2019, Christine Griffith
hosted a Birdshot Day in Philadelphia. It was an amazing gathering of birdies, medical professionals and tech reps, and afterwards, several birdies were inspired enough to establish BUSNA!
In 2022 we are facilitating a few virtual educational events. (Check out Dr. Thorne's 10/25 webinar and the Autoimmune Community Summit on 10/21-22!)
We're hoping that we can meet for an in-person Birdshot Day in 2023!
In 2021 BUSNA held a 'Spring into Bloom Auction' to support Birdshot research. This year, 2022, we celebrated our 2nd Anniversary with a Birthday Calendar fundraiser.
Each of the photographs featured in the calendar were taken by "birdies".
Each donation is greatly appreciated!
We love hosting casual online gatherings in which a small number of us Birdies can chat about our birdshot concerns. Who knows? Maybe someone else has the same frustration as you!
Thanks to all those who joined us on October 3rd. Our virtual meet-up was abundant in friendship, support, and shared experiences.
