Autoimmune Community Summit

An Autoimmune Community Summit was held this past October 21-22. It was a free 2-day event of virtual presentations by leading autoimmune experts.

Many attendees to the summit visited our booth in the virtual Exhibit Area where we shared information about Birdshot Uveitis with other autoimmune patients.

Group Meeting

Birdshot Day

In 2019, Christine Griffith

hosted a Birdshot Day in Philadelphia. It was an amazing gathering of birdies, medical professionals and tech reps, and afterwards, several birdies were inspired enough to establish BUSNA!

In 2022 we facilitated several virtual educational events.

Plans are coming together for an in-person Birdshot Day at Wills Eye Institute in Philadelphia this fall! Look for details in the coming months!

Spring Fundraiser

In 2021 BUSNA held a 'Spring into Bloom Auction' to support Birdshot research. This year, 2022, we celebrated our 2nd Anniversary with a Birthday Calendar fundraiser.

Each of the photographs featured in the calendar were taken by "birdies".

Thank you to all who donated!

The Gathering

We love hosting this year's casual online gatherings in which a we chatted about our birdshot concerns. Our virtual meet-ups were abundant in friendship, support, and shared experiences.

Our next Gathering will be held on March 5, 2023. Look for sign-ups sometime in February. Hope to see you there!
